Modern Favicon Generator is free, needs no account and stores nothing. Your image stays yours, the favicons it produces are yours, and I claim no rights over either. In return the tool comes with no warranty and no guarantee that it will be online. Using the site means accepting the rest of this page.
Upload one image and the tool returns a zip holding favicon.ico at 16, 32 and 48 pixels, icon.svg, apple-touch-icon.png at 512 pixels, icon-192.png, icon-512.png, icon-maskable-512.png and a manifest.webmanifest. Accepted uploads are PNG, JPEG, WEBP and SVG files up to 4 MB, and a raster upload must be at least 180 pixels on its longest side. There is no charge, no sign-up and no usage quota, though I may add limits if the service is abused.
You keep every right you already held in the image you upload, and you own the favicons generated from it. I take no licence over either, and since nothing is stored I could not use them even if I wanted to. Use the output however you like, personally or commercially, with no credit required.
The site itself, its code, its design and its wording remain mine. Generating favicons does not give you any right to those.
You must have the right to use the image you upload. I never see it and I check nothing about it, so confirming that you hold the copyright, the licence or the permission is entirely down to you. Beyond that, do not use the tool to process material that is unlawful where you are, and do not attempt to break, overload or work around the site or its generator.
The tool is provided as is. I do not promise that it will be available, that it will be free of faults, or that a generated icon will look or behave the way you expect on every browser, device or platform. Check the files before you ship them, and keep your own copy of the source image, because I have none. I may change how the tool works, or take it offline, at any time and without notice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this tool or of the files it produces, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
I may update these terms as the tool changes. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted, and continuing to use Modern Favicon Generator means you accept the current version. This version was last updated on 7 September 2026.
